This one is definitely late, because I’ve already posted images from Julie’s wedding here, but there’s a reason. Normally, we photograph a couple at a coastal romantic session months to years before their wedding. But Mike couldn’t get the time off from work to come up from Virginia until their wedding, and on my processing priority list, wedding images come before anything else. So I just finished processing these, two weeks after the wedding images have been posted, but I think they were worth the wait.

What a beautiful couple and an amazing backdrop…I am searching out a location for my wedding next year…can you tell me a bit about the location of these photos?

Lisa, these are shot at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth. It’s a beautiful park that highlights a lot of what the Maine coast has to offer. However, it’s not entirely unique - and it is very busy on weekends during the summer. Are you looking for a reception site outside, or just a great place to take your wedding party for pictures?
